Artificial intelligence and new jobs

Technology human touch background, modern remake of The Creation of Adam

I've wanted to talk about this for weeks because it's a huge topic for our sector: data centers.

If you weren't aware... artificial intelligence doesn't just need talent.
It needs energy. A lot of it.

And here's the important point:

👉 Fossil fuels will not provide what is needed to sustain current demand plus the massive demand generated by data centers.
👉 That's why governments and companies are already planning future infrastructure.
👉 And that means one thing: more projects, more investment, and more specialized talent.

Data centers don't come alone.
They come with new technical requirements:
• distributed generation
• dedicated photovoltaic projects
• energy storage
• robust interconnections
• energy efficiency
• Cooling systems
• electrical resilience
• and above all… engineers who know how to work in these environments
And this is where you, as a renewable energy professional, need to pay attention 👇

✨ If you already have experience in PV installations or storage linked to data centers: get ready, many opportunities are coming.

✨ If you have NO experience but want to grow in this sector:
You are at the best time to start studying, taking courses, certifications or getting involved in internal projects.
As with everything in the industry, the one who adapts first, wins first.
As a recruiter in renewables and storage, my job is also to share what's happening with you so you're not caught off guard.
Because when clients start asking for profiles with experience in data centers… I want you to already be one step ahead.

This is my tip of the week.
If you're thinking about your 2026 resolutions, include this:
Prepare for the data center wave before it arrives.
