What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI test suites using Python with Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Build and evolve scalable test automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) or similar design patterns.
• Perform API testing using tools and libraries such as Postman, Python Requests, or REST Assured to validate backend functionality.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and improve automation stability by addressing flaky tests, synchronization issues, and other recurring failures.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using tools such as JIRA.
• Collaborate closely with developers and Product teams to understand requirements, define testing strategies, and ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Combine automated and manual testing practices to support high-quality software releases throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Maintain test plans, test cases, automation coverage reports, and other QA documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvements in automation frameworks and QA practices.

What are they looking for?

• 3–5 years of QA experience, with a strong focus on test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python for developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies, and test design techniques, including boundary value analysis and equivalence partitioning.
• Experience with API testing using Postman, Requests, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Experience with test management and defect-tracking platforms such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to investigate test failures and maintain reliable automated test suites.
• Good communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with developers, Product teams, and other stakeholders.
• Experience with pytest or unittest is highly desirable.
• Exposure to Docker, BDD frameworks (Behave, pytest-bdd, Cucumber), and SQL/database validation is a plus.
• ISTQB certification is considered an advantage.
